Biography

Driven by a commitment to justice and access to human rights for all, I work at the Foundation for Human Rights, within the Unfinished Business of the TRC thematic area. In this role, I contribute to the implementation and coordination of TRC case support, providing project management, logistical assistance, and stakeholder engagement. My academic background includes a Bachelor’s in Political Governance and Law with a minor in English Literature and an Honours in Justice and Transformation from UCT, where I completed a Master’s in the same field. My experience includes a role as an Associate at Vikāra Institute, an organisation focused on meaningful change through systems development. And internships with prominent human rights and environmental activists, such as Yasmin Sooka, Kumi Naidoo, and Louisa Zondo, as well as the African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (ACCORD). My writing has been featured in various publications, including “Living While Feminist: Our Bodies, Our Truths” by Jen Thorpe, and I was a prize winner in the Law for All competition.
