Biography
Dr Aaron Weah is a seasoned peacebuilder and transitional justice scholar with over 15years experience in Liberia and West Africa. His experience include capacity strengthening of local civil society organizations , policy analysis (Government of Liberia) and more than 10 years experience as senior executive with international organisations, International Centre of Transitional Justice (ICTJ) and Search for Common Ground (Search). His area of interest and specialization include: transitional justice and development, human rights and civil society development. Aaron serves as an adjunct lecturer at the Kofi Annan Institute for Conflict Transformation (KAICT), University of Liberia. He has written and published extensively on Liberia’s transitional justice development. Some of his works has appeared in notable peer-reviewed journals, Oxford University Press (IJTJ), International Review of the Red Cross and International Peace Institute(IPI).
