Biography
She works as both a practitioner and academic on transitional justice. She is a Professor from the Stanford University’s Overseas Study Programme and teaches for the Council On International Educational Exchange’s (CIEE) Cape Town Global Institute.
Scanlon has published over 20 books, articles and chapters on the topics of transitional justice, gender justice and peacebuilding.

This course focuses on ongoing efforts to address past human rights violations through advocacy, policy and practice. It explores key areas such as truth recovery, reparations, criminal accountability and memorialisation.
