Are you passionate about peace, justice, and building sustainable communities? We invite you to join Peacebuilding in Africa, a six-week online program that brings together participants from around the world to learn directly from African peacebuilders.
This free, English-language course explores the realities of conflict, the strategies used to promote social justice and sustainable development, and our shared role in creating a more peaceful world..
What to Expect
Each week, a guest speaker will share insights for 30 minutes, followed by interactive small group discussions and a Q&A session. This format creates space for learning, reflection, and practical action.
Course Schedule
- Journey Through Peacebuilding
Over six weeks, we’ll travel across the continent listening to the voices of peacebuilders who are shaping their communities.
We begin in Africa as a whole, exploring the big picture of peace and justice and the opportunities to make a difference. Then we journey to Mozambique, South Sudan, Northern Uganda, Mali and finally Zimbabwe; learning about local initiatives and how peace can be restored.
Each week is a step in understanding Africa’s diverse struggles and its inspiring strategies for peace.
